I Am Hate by A-M-A-P I Am Hate by A-M-A-P
This is the third(3) and final part to this three(3) part series I created. I hope you all enjoy this one.

As the fighting continued over this 'mysterious girl in red' over Death and Evil. It was Death who had more of a heart than Evil did because Death always seen people who came before him, trying to be reborn again! "The girl in red' sparked something in Death that was never there?.. However, Hate was watching this whole time and didn't agree with Evil's minuscule's methods on his brother, Death, so Hate took Evil, removed his giant fur coat of dead animal and human fur, tied him down on the raw surface of hell's floor and set him on fire and watched. Hate just smiled and hovered over Evil's body while he burned and laughed at him.. The endless screams from Evil was a soothing tune to Deaths ears! But Death couldn't stop thinking about 'the girl in red'.. Now that Hate has taken care of Evil, Death has a chance now to show 'the girl in red' he has a heart. A heart full of black tar, emptiness, soulless but for girl to decide, none other.. What will happen... ?

This is a mini-fantasy series. Three parts were in the making of this. Go to part one to see how it begins!: I Am Death

Edit 1: I apologize for my big watermark. I was really happy how the fire turned out and totally forgot to reduce the opacity and the size.. :D

I really like this series and the story that goes with it. Love the way they trade the mistery for violence/action as they progress. I know it's not easy but I think it would be actually perfect if it was a little longer, perhaps in 5 parts or so, not more but enough to allow the themes to develop more.
About this particular part, I really like the art direction. Obviously the colors match the setting but I think the way you painted it also works well to transmit the feeling of heat (in both literal and figurative way). The character design is also good and the hatred is well portrayed in the assailant's countenance.
On one last note, if you haven't already, you should check out my favorite painter, Francisco de Goya, as I think the way he depicts "dark" subjects is simply amazing :) and especially considering it was 200 years ago!

Good job :)

This isn't my area of expertise, but I think that I could be of some help. Both my parents are in the design business (Mom has been doing graphic and web design for 18 years and my dad does game design)

I think that if you make the edges a little darker on the dragon (assuming it is a dragon) it will make him pop more. Not in solid black, but just solidify the edges slightly. draw attention to the main focus of the picture. At the bottom jaw of the beast you have a defined outline. Also, add more to the monster. You can't tell what it is really. A dragon? The Devil? I love the concept, but it needs more so people can see what you see in your eyes. Maybe wings or horns. A body would be very helpful in general.

Do the same thing next to the right eye.Same thing with what I'm assuming is a cauldron or flaming rock/fireball. It's not really clear what it's exactly supposed to be. Maybe add some more detail to it. More definition. If it's a rock add some lumps. If it's a cauldron add a handle to it; fireball, some glowing cracks that show the fire within.

You should probably define the background some more so we can tell where he is exactly. In a volcano or Hell (looks like somewhere with a lot of fire). You seem to have a lot of smoke so if you can, do a simple sketch (nothing to detailed) of something like a cave wall behind the smoke.

Outside of these small details I think you did an amazing job! This type of art is something that I look at in awe and would love to do one day myself. The color scheme is great and the lighting is wonderful. Keep up the good work!

Wow! This looks really cool despite the fact it's burning hot! I'd say there's nothing to dislike in this pic. I especially like how the Hate seems to materialize from smoke and shadows, and love the play between light and shadow. The feel of heat and suffering is also really tangible!

Sinister and mysterious, what's not to like! :) Simply love it!

A very powerful piece about a very powerful emotion. This was an great series because you were able to take three abstract words that were feelings, emotions and states of being and turned them into comparable images. The story line is very interesting, reminiscent of the four horsemen of the Apocalypse.

I like the concepts and story behind the imagery. The art style is interesting and I like how the smoke holds texture and seems to flow so naturally. I am a dummy!

Wow, this looks like a pretty flawless piece of work if I'm to be honest. If I had to be incredibly picky I'd say harder lines or more definition around the teeth of 'hate' I think it is and I personally would enjoy seeing 'Evil' in more definition too, just looks to good a moment to miss out on :) I am not a digital artist or anything like that but looking at this you've obviously put in a lot of time and effort, it is awesome and certainly thought provoking. Looks like I'm going to have to watch you from now on and explore your gallery haha :D great work! X

I love the lighting and the mood. To me the background seems a little washed out; maybe something like some in-focus sparks would give it a bit more balance and perspective. The face is awesome, by the way. Effectively creepy.

Creative!  I wish there were more detail in the creature in the eyes and teeth.  I'd like more detail in the individual being consumed by the fire.  I agree with Hailey, you have a good start.  Keep it up!

Whoo, this is pretty cool!
You've got great contrast going on, and the eye is drawn straight to the fire and then flows along to the creature really nicely, nice work!
The only sort of critique I can think of is it seems like you're using a soft brush (perhaps an airbrush?), which isn't bad, they can be quite helpful, but you should try giving a hard brush a go, varying the opacity as you see fit. Hardening and sharpening the focal points of the image, like the creature here, will give even more attention, and softer brushes are good for secondary elements and backgrounds, that way you have even more control over where they eyes of your viewers go ^^

Hope I helped!

I can't really express my opinion because I'm french and I haven't enough vocabulary in english.
The flames are really beautiful. The piece are very beautiful. There's perhaps too much blur but it's not too bad.

Overall? There's a little too much blur and not a lot of detail to really tell the story you are going for. I think you need to incorporate a little more anatomical reference into your work and try to really turn it into a creature and/or hominid. It needs more presence. Right now it is very difficult to tell what is what because of the murky blending. You have a decent start, but it could be pulled further.

Powerful image.  My reaction was one of admiration at the creative expression.  I think it needs a bit more red through out but especially in the bottom left corner where it seem rather dull. The red might give it more passion.

Though I can't disagree with this view, or personification, I feel as though "hate" would seem more in agony itself than in Evil. As though even though a definite form of hatred exists there's still a presence of other elements that may follow that feeling. At least, my thinking on it. Any whom, detail wise you've done very well (no, really, this thing is great), though I'd advise you treat fire with less restraint- fire is uncontrollable, the most you can do is usher it to form in the way you want in art. You do very well on the fire, but it becomes too restricted around the face of Evil. Even then, great job. Love this piece and I do encourage you to keep up the amazing work!
Have a fine time!~ ^u^
